Mr. Shipp is a member of the firm's Environmental Law Practice Group.
Professional Qualifications
Mr. Shipp’s practice focuses on environmental litigation. He represents public and private entities, individuals and non-profit organizations in litigation arising under federal and state environmental laws. He has experience in cases arising under CEQA, CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Water Act, and the Hazardous Substance Account Act, as well as California common law, and has appeared in cases in state and federal court throughout California.
Mr. Shipp is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, which is frequently ranked as having one of the nation's top environmental law programs. At Lewis & Clark he served as an Associate Editor of the Lewis & Clark Animal Law Review, and interned with the legal department of the Port of Portland and the Pacific Environmental Advocacy Center (PEAC).
He is a member of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of California.
